The Maurer Foundation would like to offer our gratitude to the students and staff of Eastern Suffolk BOCES, who have once again participated in our Cookies for a Cause program. Eastern Suffolk BOCES has been a dedicated partner since 2007 and have sold thousands of Pink Cookies on our behalf under the leadership of Patricia Rizzi, one of their special education teachers.
On Thursday, November 17th our Executive Director, Susan Samaroo, attended an awards ceremony recognizing the top student sellers and was presented with a check for $576.00 as a result of all of these students’ hard work on behalf of breast health education.
