First Descents
First Descents provides week-long outdoor adventure camps for young adults with cancer (ages 18-39). Programs are all about having fun, getting outside, and pushing your limits through kayaking, rock climbing and other outdoor activities.

Strength for Life
“Fighting cancer with exercise,” Strength for Life offers FREE exercise classes for all cancer thrivers regardless of type of cancer, gender, or treatment status. SFL provides all exercise equipment for participants to keep and certified professional instruction in a group setting. Classes are available throughout Nassau and Suffolk County. SFL provides free weekend wellness retreats 4 times per year. SFL’s Weekend Retreats offers a place of learning, connecting and respite for anyone who has ever been impacted by cancer.
