After learning about the breast health programs presented by the Maurer Foundation, Oceanside School District made the decision to develop a partnership with our organization.  Over the course of three days, hundreds of students, as well as staff, participated in our highly interactive program learning how to reduce their risks for breast cancer .   This coordinated training was due in large part to Bob Fenter, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction,  Gerry DeCarlo, Principal at Oceanside High School, and Jeff Risener, the Director of Physical Education and Health.   We were delighted to learn that the Oceanside School District has raised nearly three thousand dollars for the Maurer Foundation through the sales of T-shirts designed by Andrew Morris, Coordinator of Student Activities and as well as funds raised during this year’s Girls Sportsnight.
