Silverfox Studios, located in Lindenhurst, New York, hosts the annual “Wedding of the Year” contest, celebrating the most remarkable weddings they’ve photographed in 2024. Six couples compete for the title via a community-driven vote to choose the winning pair. Silverfox started the “Wedding of the Year“ contest in 2015.
Friends, family, and fans cast their votes for their top pick among the finalists, with one vote allowed per day during the voting period, which is February 13th through February 23rd.
As a “vote booster” for every dollar donated to The Maurer Foundation, couples will be rewarded with additional bonus votes in the following manner: #1 in total donations: 100 bonus votes, #2 in total donations: 75 bonus votes, #3 in total donations: 50 bonus votes, #4 in total donations: 40 bonus votes, #5 in total donations: 30 bonus votes, #6 in total donations: 20 bonus votes.
The announcement of the winning couple is scheduled for February 25th, 2025, at 8pm, and will be broadcast live on social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram. The celebration includes the winning couple and the Silverfox Studios team. The victors will receive an array of prizes courtesy of our sponsors and the prestige of being named “Wedding of the Year.”
